Elosa is a luxury clothing brand that celebrates femininity, beauty and equality, while keeping sustainability at the heart of the business.
Founded in 2021, Elosa is the result of a life-long passion for design and creativity along with a new-found desire to create beautiful clothing that does not harm people or the planet in the process.
So, who is behind the business?
Hi, I'm Ellie!
From a young age I had a passion to design and create, and I began sewing during my school years. After a few years of studying at university, the pandemic hit and I found the time to go back to my long-lost hobby, and haven’t looked back since. Each garment has been carefully designed, developed and sewn together by me.
Elosa garments are mostly made from organic cotton or bamboo – two of the most eco-friendly fabric options. Not only do these items come beautifully packaged, but the packaging is also 100% plastic-free and biodegradable! We consider our carbon footprint by purchasing almost all our supplies from other UK businesses, meaning supplies don’t travel across the world, producing pollution.
Finally, a business cannot boast about sustainability unless the workers are being treated fairly and compassionately. Elosa is a one-woman band, therefore nobody has to worry about the ethics of who made their garment and whether they were paid enough, treated well, and looked after by their management. The perfect trio for loungewear
Elosa pieces are designed with comfort, beauty, and sustainability in mind; our tops, trousers and underwear combine these to create items that can be worn inside or out and about. Each collection has been carefully designed with all body types considered and the process of sampling is never rushed; designs have been perfected over many months to ensure they fit the body flawlessly. For most products, we offer full size inclusivity meaning that garments can be made to measure, allowing everyone to feel beautiful in their Elosa pieces. Not only this, but we also offer a ‘fuller bust’ range as most large fashion brands neglect this, leaving a subgroup of women unable to enjoy certain styles.
